Blindness came upon me, I couldn’t see the day

I had turned from the Righteous one and left His Holy Way

I stumbled on in darkness, I plunged into the night

But as the evil reached my soul, I called unto the Light.

Now I am back in the Light again

I am in the Light

Darkness is gone from my sight

I am back in the Light again

And now I’m living right.

The chains of darkness held me, the evil had me bound

I struggled in my cold dark cell as demons gathered round

They thought I was defeated, to hell I would descend

But my prayer reached the throne of grace and God my help did send.

Now I am back in the Light again

I am in the Light

Darkness is gone from my sight

I am back in the Light again

And now I’m living right

If you’re walking in the darkness of this evil world below

Jesus is waiting patiently to show you the way to go

He’ll deliver you from all evil, rescue you from the night

He gives peace and joy within as we walk in His Light

Yes I am back in the Light again

I am in the Light

Darkness is gone from my sight

I am back in the Light again

And now I’m living right
